William Appleyard was the only child of John William and Caroline Appleyard of 40 Wandsworth Bridge Road, Fulham. He is buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.

Additional Information:

There is a small stone memorial at the foot of William and Frances Porter's headstone in St. Andrew's graveyard Sutton, Ely, Cambridgeshire in memory of Rifleman William John Victor Appleyard.
