Pte. Ernest Hazelwood

British Army 7th Battalion Suffolk Regiment

Ernest Hazelwood was my great great uncle. His name is on the Thiepval Memorial along with many of his comrades. He was born in Withersfield, a village outside Haverhill in Suffolk. We will remember them.

Additional Information:

Ernest Hazelwood was my grandfather's cousin - Sydney Charles Hazelwood (Red Lion Pub, Little Wratting, b. 1899). I visited Suffolk July 2015 and took a photograph of the Withersfield war memorial.
