5048858 Tpr. George Edwin Hill British Army 56th Regiment Reconnaissance Corps George Hill served with the 56th Regiment Reconnaissance Corps and the Leicester Regiment. I have his unissued dogtags, made in preparation for deployment to the Far East and would love to get them home to his family. I am happy to cover all costs. He was a prisoner in Muelhberg N° 4861130 Rank.Troper. Captured in North Africa in 1942. He was from Leicester. My mother has a dogtag from Stalag IV,
He was liberated in April 1945 by the 1st Cossack red army. Then returned back to England. If the dogtags are Georges, we would be very grateful.
