262228 George Herbert Southworth Royal Navy HMS Duncan from:Preston George Southworth is our grandfather, who is still alive at age 99. He served on HMS Duncan in the Mediterranean from the outset of the war escorting British merchant ships to Malta. We would like to do a George War book. We are trying to find out just what he did and get him the medals he never collected.
He says he sailed back from Australia on an aircraft carrier named Invincible and then was demobbed. I think he will tell us more if we can come up with his records.
