258750 L/Cpl. Peter Bbazil Rush British Army Oxford & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry from:Dover All I know about Peter Rush is that he was a Prisoner of War was a batman for a officer. He served in the Ox & Bucks Light Infantry.
He told me he was a POW in Poznan Poland. He worked on farms and was fed horse meat and potato peelings. He tried to escape and got captured.
Apart from that he had PTSD all his life and did not engage much with people. I have his two medals and cap badges.
