258298 John Lees British Army Sherwood Foresters from:Parwich, Derbyshire John Lees lived in Parwich, Derbyshire and served in the Second World War with the Sherwood Foresters and was on one of the last ships to leave Dunkirk. He was a very quiet man and we did not know he was on one of the last boats until the vicar told us at his funeral. I do not know his date of birth but his birthday was in April. I am his daughter-in-law and would love to have his war records for my son who is the last of the Lees name and now lives in the USA. I would be so grateful for any information Thank you.
