Arthur Ford served with the Royal Armoured Corps in WW2. Information came from a newspaper cutting held by my grandmother Gladys Ford who was married to Albert Ford (Arthur and Albert were brothers). Arthur made a recording of his life in the Army wherein he states that he was captured by the Germans at Dunkirk and notes with the cutting say that he was working as a plasterer whilst in Stalag XXb.
