257054 Pte. Neil Russell Adshead Jones British Army 1st Btn. Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders from:Stranraer Scotland Neil Jones served with the 1st Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders in WW2. He was captured in Crete between May 23rd and 27th by the German forces who were over-running the island. He spent the next 4 years as a prisoner although I am not sure where. All he said was that it was in the desert. He turned up on the 7th of June 1945 along with his fellow prisoners.
