256395 Audrey Joan "Sue" Gresham Womens Land Army My mother Audrey Gresham (now 88) served in the WLA on a farm in Ross on Wye. She called herself Sue as she hated Audrey! She is losing her memory now and can't remember much but she would like to go back to the farm if its still there.
She remembers walking along side Darky the plough horse and wearing the farmer's wellingtons. When Darky trod on her boot she was ok as the boots were too big!
