William Jones British Army Loyal Regiment (North Lancashire) from:Oldham, Lancashire The only thing I remember is my Dad, William Jones was a Prisoner of War in Thorn, Poland at Stalag XXA for 5 Years. He would never talk about his time in the camps. I remember my Mother telling me he was 6 stone when he came home. They had stringed together flags on our street to welcome him home. My Dad had horrendous nightmares for years. My mother said the man that went away to war was not the man that came home, sadly. He was captured at Lille.
