252469 Pte. John Rae Sime Robertson British Army 51st Highland Division from:Dundee, Scotland John Robertson was in the territorial army before the war, then as soon as war broke out he was taken into the 51st Highland Division. He served in the 4th Battalion until he took ill at Aloa rail station where he was to be entrained for Dunkirk. He had to have his appendix removed, which resulted in him being moved to the 5th Battalion and him missing the battle of Dunkirk.
