251374 Gnr. Godfrey P. Snow British Army Royal Artillery from:Bromley, Kent Godfrey Snow served with the Royal Artillery. I have recently bought a Prisoner of War letter that was sent from Godfrey's mother addressed to him, prisoner of war number 274998, at Stalag IVF dated 24th of March 1945. The letter says that the last she heard from her son was a postcard dated 29th of January 1945 and prior to that a letter dated 1st of January 1945. The letter is stamped: This letter has been returned by the Swiss Post Office who were unable to reforward it to Germany because of interruptions in communications.
