250920 Flt.Sgt. John Carruthers Royal Air Force 1651 H.C.U from:Dumfries, Scotland My father John Carruthers passed away in October 2000. He did not talk about the war much. I have only found out more when tidying up my mother's estate. She passed away last Fall and this is when I found my father's Flying Log Book.
I am very proud of what my father and all the young men and women did during WW2, if not for them the world would be a much different place.
