F/Sgt. Stanley Thomas Willis

Royal Air Force

Stanley Willis was born in St. Pancras, London in 1921 and died in Suffolk in 2002. He joined the RAF early in the War and rose to the rank of Flight Sergeant. He was a wireless operator on heavy bombers and was shot down in 1942 over Germany. He spent the rest of the war in Stalag 4B until the camp was liberated in 1945
