250015 Stok1. Edward George Arthur Palmer Royal Navy HMS Highflyer from:Gravesend As with all family history I am writing on behalf of my Grandfather, Edward Palmer, who has now died and never shared any memories of the war. But, I wanted to get his name on here for future generations.
We know nothing of what he saw apart from third hand stories from other sources and a few pictures. It has long been considered that due to being a stoker he would have been ignorant to everything above the engine room but I disagree and believe that every serviceman has a story to tell.
