249860 Pvt William "Snub" Russo British Army Royal Scots My Uncle William was a Prisoner of War at Stalag 7B Memmingen Bavaria 48-10. This was well before I was born, but I remember that he could barely move his arm. That arm had scars on it that were dug into his skin. My parents would never speak of it. My uncle died in 1962 from alcohol related illness. Does anyone remember him? I think his nickname was Snub.
