George Moffat
British Army
My dear Dad, George Moffat was a prisoner with the evil, wicked, cruel Japs in WW2 the fall of Singapore. He survived the hell, made it back to Dundee, Scotland was given £20 a cheap de-mob suit and told thanks old chap, now go on and get back to civvy life.
He died lonely death in England at 43, a broken man, a waste of life how he manged to marry my mum and have us three kids is amazing, his tortured mind and soul.
