Joseph Bradley
Auxiliary Fire Service
from:London
My father Joseph Bradley was a fire fighter in WW2 based in Blackfriars. His job was to protect St Paul’s Cathedral. He took me to see all the bombed sights around St Paul’s. He had to jump from building to building as the bombs came down. He hated the doodlebugs the most. I remember seeing a group photo of him in uniform with his colleagues but it was lost years ago.
