My Dad, Johnny Moore was wounded in Italy. He lost an arm, and almost lost his leg. He was saved by two Gurkhas who found him on the field of battle. We never knew how severe his injuries were until he died. All of this happened before I was born so I never saw my father with two arms, and without a heavy limp. We loved when the TV series The Fugitive came out because it wasn't every family who housed the one armed man.
