247677 Sgt Albert Edwin Reeve British Army 6th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment from:Hull My father, AlbertReeve died about 39 years ago. I have been trying to find out about his war service. He is listed as being wounded in Sicily, but, I have vague recollections of being told, by him, that he was wounded in Tunisia. I recollect him telling me about coming back from patrols and spending hours shivering with relief at surviving. I presume this was a quite common occurrence. He did not tell me a lot about his war, I suspect he had that in common with a lot of ordinary soldiers doing extraordinary things.
