Gnr. Thomas McAndrew Mill

Thomas Mill originally served in The Gordon Highlanders, he joined the local TA Battery and was called to the colours on the outbreak of war. He joined the BEF in France fought down to St Valery, when they were over run and taken prisoner. Imprisoned at Stalag XXb where he stayed until repatriated end of 1944, he was now longer fit for military service. He never fully recovered from his ordeal.
