243754 Cpl. Robert Martin McNeil US Army from:Friend, NE My Uncle Bob McNeil was a POW at Stalag XIIA during WW2 and he would not talk about his time in confinement. I have whatever he had at the time of his death in 1989 while living in Pitkin, LA. My uncle was born in Palmyra, NE December 1919 and his mother died within a couple of days of his birth, he was raised by his grandparents The Moore's who lived in Friend NE while his two brothers were sent to an orphanage in Friend, NE until they were of age to work.
