243526 William Keith Leitch British Army Highland Light Infantry William Keith Leitch was stationed near Sittingbourne Kent in early 1944. I am told that he left the area along with many other soldiers of the Highland Light Infantry in the period leading up to the Normandy Landings in June 1944. I have reason to believe that had he served there he probably survived because there is evidence that a person of the same name transferred to the Glasgow Rangers after WW2.
