240251 L/Cpl. Albert Johnson British Army 1st Btn. Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry from:Erdington, Birmingham A great loss to the family is the fact that some history in the making can be too sad for spoken words. Albert Johnson is still remembered but, other than his death, little is known. I believe India is his resting place. He joined the service in the early thirties. The electoral register of 1933 puts the home entry as "absent voter" plus his regiment and number. Hopefully I can find him soon.
