Just wanted my dad's name, David Oliver Davies, to be remembered. He was a regular soldier, coming to the end of his service when he was sent to the front line and WW2 broke out. He was Regiment crack shot before the War and also section boxer. He was offered Sergeant but wanted to remain with his friends.
