W/Bdr. William Charles Moseley
British Army Maritime Regiment Royal Artillery
William Moseley was my father. He went all over the world when serving with the Maritime Regiment Royal Artillery, seagoing on Defensively Equipped Merchant vessels. He has five campaign medals: 1939/45 Star, Atlantic Star, Pacific Star, Italy Star - on the ribbon is a small silver rose or something like that - which we have no idea what it represents also, France and Germany Star, plus the Silver War Medal.
He served from 1940 till 1946 when demobbed from Osterode, Germany.
I cannot tell you much more about his service as he never really spoke about his wartime experiences.
