238857 Alfred Bettridge British Army 930th Port Construction Coy. Royal Engineers from:Bootle Alfie Bettridge is my first cousin. I have pictures of him and I also have a piece of music from that period that he wrote the music to, another soldier wrote the words. The song is called North African Blues (my older sister can sing it). The front cover has the regimental badge with all the countries on. It is dated 1941-1944.
