L/Cpl. Roland Wallace Francis

British Army Northamptonshire Regiment

from:Northampton

Roland Francis served with the Northamptonshire Regiment for over 13 years. He was with the BEF in France and was listed as 'missing in action', although he never made it back from the overall evacuation from Dunkirk, he was finally able to get home via Belgium. On his return home, he served with the Pioneer Corps until the end of the War.
