Free French Airforce 347 Squadron (d.15th Mar 1945) A Tilliers flew as a Rear gunner with 347 Tunisie Sdq Free French he was killed on 15th of Mar 1945 when his aircraft crashed near Scawton. Additional Information: | The information i have regarding Sergent-Chef Tillier is from a letter by
Sergent-Chef Henri Sciolette written in 1996.
He states that Tillier died in 1947 flying in a Junkers 52 which crashed into a mountain in
Indochina carrying Paratroopers.
Ironically this was the third accident he had been involved in.
