My Mother and Father lived in Singapore until the Japanese invasion. My Father Mr W.Q. Lennane joined the Straits Settlements Volunteer Force but was captured and sent to Labuan Borneo as a POW.
Prewar friends in Singapore included Mr and Mrs Cain and the Scrimgeour family, whose two daughters Ann and Judy came to my first birthday party. Our first home was at 17 Ringwood Road, Singapore before moving to 14 Chatsworth Road, Singapore. I would love to hear of the present whereabouts of Judy and Ann Scrimgeour.
