James Wilde was the son of Percy Alexander Wilde & Dorothy Dunlop, brother to Peter George Wilde. James was born on 20 June 1921 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire. He died on 23 December 1943 & was buried at Hanover War Cemetery, Germany. He was a navigator flying in Lancaster type 111 No ED999 code KM-X which took off from Dunholme Lodge at 09.00 target Berlin, believed shot down by a night fighter, over Diepholz.
