230662 Pte. Charles William "Hap" Cady United States Army "F" Coy. 168th Rgt. from:Miamitown, Ohio Charles W. Cady joined the Army in 1942. He was captured in Tunisia in Northern Africa around Kasserine Pass on 17th February 1943. He eventually was taken to Stalag 2B. He worked in a labour kommando. He was part of the forced march and was liberated on or about 15th April 1945. He spent time in Camp Lucky Strike recuperating before being sent home. When he arrived home he was told that his brother had been killed in Northern France on 22nd November 1944.
