229772 Drvr. Thomas "Renwick" Dargue British Army B2 Coy, Case Depot Middle East Royal Army Service Corps My grandfather, Thomas "Renwick" Dargue, was a driver in the RASC between November 1939 and November 1942. He was in the Middle East between December 1939 and October 1942. Places mentioned in his service record are Abassia Barracks, Cairo, Base Depot Middle East and B2 Coy Base Depot, where were these? One entry mentions 2nd Armed Div 17/7/41 but I thought they disbanded in April 1941. He arrived at Haifa on 15/1/40. Any info however vague would be welcome. As a child I remember some photos and his colleagues including "Dandruff" and "Ginger".
