229569 Phyliss Nickless Women's Royal Naval Service HMS Tern My mum Phyliss Nickless served during World War 2 as a Wren at a remote Naval Airstation called Twatt, RN HMS Tern. She has very fond memories of the time she spent there despite the extreme cold and hardship.
