Queen's Own Hussars My father, Eddie Morgan, also called Taff, was in the 7th Queen's Own Hussars, which was part of the 7th Armoured Brigade. He drove petrol and water lorries in North Africa, keeping the tanks supplied. From 1942, when they arrived in Burma, he was on the tanks. He survived the Long Retreat and went on to Iraq, Egypt and finally Italy.
