My uncle Jim who sadly passed away some tears back was a serviceman during the second world war and there is no trace of anything about him in the family, after his death his then wife cleared everything out including all this information. I want to make a website as memorial of him and for many others in same situation but have limited knowledge on my uncles details except for the following.
James Bowman, Born 25 Jan 1921, Sunderland County Durham . Served RAF in India 1942 Ground Staff (Waving in the planes) Mali Halt India. I wonder if anyone can help me find out more details, I would be most grateful always.
