220221 Warwick Fredrick Orton Mestern Royal Navy HMS Warspite from:Barnet, London My father Warwick Mestern was very reluctant to speak about his time in the war. All I know is he was stationed on the Warspite during WWII. The few time he did speak of his experiences it was with great fondness towards this ship. I know he spent time in the Tropics, Crete and the Indian Ocean though he would never talk of any action or combat he may have been part of.
