F/O. Robert Avery

Royal Air Force 104 Squadron

from:Enfield

(d.5th May 1944)

I lost my nan around 10 years ago and she left my mother several pictures and information of her brother Robert Avery who served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Before he did his training in America he worked in Burton in Enfield town and was good friends with Bill Martin. He was shot down in 1944 aged 21, and his grave is in Budapest War Cemetery. I have some information but would like to know more if anyone can help.

Robert was the son of William Frederick and Minnie Matilda Avery, of Enfield, Middlesex.
