219040 Pte. Harry Whitfield Brown British Army S Company Royal Norfolk Regiment from:Corby, Northants Harry Brown served with S Company, Royal Norfolk Regiment from 12 February 1942. He was in France during WW2,attached to the Hampshire Regiment, from 11 July 1944 until 18 August 1944 when he sustained shrapnel wounds through both feet and left shoulder during a mortar attack whilst advancing to contact near Caen. He was evacuated to England for treatment and was finally discharged from service in July 1945.
