218579 Pte. Colin Smyth British Army Royal Army Medical Corps from:Manchester My father Colin Smyth was in the Medical Corps but was also a paratrooper. He had been at Dunkirk, North Africa and made operational drops in Sicily and then at Arnhem where he was wounded. He spent the rest of the war first in hospital in Germany and then at Stalag 11b Fallingbstel. My father died in 1997, aged 78.
