211535 George Victor Fowles Royal Air Force My father was George Victor Fowles, VR RAF bommber command and stationed at Coningsby, he was one of the many men who serviced the Lancaster, but do not know what squadran he was in. I know he was very proud of the RAF, before he was sent to Coningsby, he was in the Orkney Islands as were many men until they where transferred to Coningsby. I wish now I had asked him more questions about it all, but they did not say much in those days.
