My father William Roberts served in Iraq as an engineer with the RAF I believe in Basra or Shaibah. He serviced Sunderlands and Catalinas. He was known for his ability to organise concerts within the company unit. I would like to know more about his time in Iraq. Does anyone remember Curly Bill also known as Mexico Bill because of his swarthy complexion and very curly hair?
