208924 Sgt. Robert Hough Royal Air Force Finningly from:Doncaster My father, Robert Hough was in the RAF, a sergeant. I know he was also a prisoner of war. I was very young when we moved to Canada from Doncaster.I didn't pay much attention as the war was over with when I was born. I would realy like to honour my father by finding out all I can of his service records. I remember he had been decorated for his service. I also saw clippings and photos of him while he was held captive from newspaper clippings. My dad died back in the late 80"s, and mom a year or so after. Any info I can find out I will forward to you as I am now starting to research his service in the war for his ancestors and my chidren to enlighten them of their heritage. I am very proud of him and wish I'd paid more attention to his war stories when I was younger. If you have any way to help in my search for answers please contact me by all means.
