My father, Charles Osman, did not talk about his time in Stalag 357 until his later years when he talked of his time before and during the war. Indeed, we did not have any idea which camp he was in until I started doing my Family History and came upon the entry in UK British Army Prisoners of War 1939-45 on Ancestry
which showed the details including his POW number 228219. Sadly Dad died in 2001 before my interest in family history. I would be interested to know if there is anyone alive who would remember him or have any information.
