Cpl. Clifford Higgins
Royal Air Force
My father, Clifford Higgins served from 1939- 1946 and I remember him telling me he was at a camp in Singapore. When the Japanese were attacking the RAF camp he was a corporal ground crew who was destroying unserviceable Spitfires. The Japanese were sniping at them. He was one of the last to leave.
This is all I know. Is there any way I can find out more? I'd love to see any photos of the RAF camp in Singapore where he served.
