206242 Edna "Ginger" Hardy Women's Land Army from:Gainsborough My nan was named 'Ginger' because of the colour of her hair at the time. I am trying to find out if any of the girls she worked with in the Land Army are still around? She moved away from her home to work as a Land Army Girl, to get away from her father. This is where she met my grandad who was, at the time, working the field or the one next to hers, on his tractor. He is German. His name is Bruno Walter Boldofski, known as Bob. I know that they met on the field, fell in love, were tried to be separated by her father and other people but it didn't work and they are still together and will celebrate 60 years of marriage this October 2010. It would be amazing to try to get them to meet up with any old loyal friends.
