206065 Herbert Dancy United States Army Air Force I am looking for information on my grandather whom I have never met. His name was Herbert Dancy, he was black and was in the US military. He met my nan in 1945 in Norfolk and left soon after. My nan has lived in Weybread all her life so they must have met around there and gave birth to my mum in 1946. I wonder if you have any advice on how I can locate various records or pictures for Herbert. I understand he was 30ish when they met. My mum seems to remember a photo of him wearing a blue uniform and a flat hat.
