My grandfather, Michael Wolinski was a Polish fighter pilot in the RAF during WW2. All I know is that he was stationed somwhere in East Anglia and that he sustained a bullet wound through his leg sometime during the war. He lived in London until his death in 1999 and was originally from Cracow, where we still have family.
