Kathleen Laura Prendergast
Australian Army Royal Australian Medical Corps
I am trying to trace my relative, Kathleen Prendergast, her last known residence was with the RAMC in Germnay in 1949.
Additional Information:
I happened to be visiting Lambhill Cemetery today 20th March 2016 and noticed a military grave for K L Prendergast - Major - unit shown as RAMC and she is mentioned on Scottish War Graves
which shows her headstone - what intrigued me was the comment on the bottom of her headstone reads "Au revoir for now Mick, Some day we will meet again - was Mick her nickname??
On the site listed above the person who posted points out she was buried beside Australians as her headstone shows Royal Army Medical Corps rather than Royal Austalian Medical Corps thus the reason for her graves location beside her fellow countrymen - I hope posting this helps in your search - still interested in the "Mick" connection??
