204815 Michael Durell Royal Air Force 2nd Armoured Car Company My Mother and Father both served in the forces, my Mother in the WAF and father the Navy. Both my parents are now deceased but I have been going through old papers of theirs to find many wonderful things, letters from friends, family and lovers,(they make great reading). For example I have a sad letter from a chap my mother was engaged to who served in No 2 RAF armoured car corps and was in the middle east at the time who I believed died, my mother always spoke of him till the day she died.
